💁♀️ Okay but… have you seen my new logo?
Not gonna lie—I’m a little obsessed with it. 😍 It’s clean, it’s bold, and it’s totally me. But this isn’t just about looking polished. There’s meaning baked into every part of it—and I couldn’t keep it to myself.
Because honestly? A logo isn’t just branding. It’s identity. It’s intention. And in this case, it’s heritage. ♥️

🌿 A little history lesson (but make it cool)
Here’s the deal: the two symbols in my logo are inspired by Baybayin—one of the ancient precolonial writing systems used by early Filipinos. Yup, I went there. 🇵🇭
The word “Baybayin” comes from baybay, which means to spell. It’s an alphasyllabary, meaning each character is built from a consonant base, and you add a kudlit (mark) to change the vowel sound.
There are 14 syllabic consonants and 3 vowels (a, e/i, o/u). The character defaults to “A” unless you add a mark—on top for “e/i” or at the bottom for “o/u”.
Cool, right? Total nerd moment, but I love it. 🧠✨
🔤 Now let’s break down my logo
🔹 The first symbol starts as “RA.” But I added a kudlit on top, changing it to RE (or RI, but I’m claiming RE 💁).
🔹 The second symbol is the vowel A.
Put them together? That spells REA.
It’s not just branding—it’s who I am.
💡 Why I chose it
I didn’t want a logo that just looked nice on a business card. I wanted something that tells a story—my story.
👉 It honors my Filipino roots.
👉 It reflects my creative and thoughtful approach.
👉 It’s simple on the outside, but layered with meaning underneath—just like the work I do.
I wanted something that stands out and stands for something. And this feels right.
🤔 What about your logo?
Does your logo tell your story? Or is it just…there? Whether you’re just starting or you’ve been doing this a while, don’t sleep on the power of strong branding.
Logos don’t need to be complicated, but they should be intentional. They should speak for you when you’re not in the room.
I’d love to hear your logo story if you’ve got one, or help you create one that finally feels like you. 🔥
